MANILA, Philippines-January 17 will mark the return of beach volleyball events to the NCAA in its 98th season.
After a hiatus from Seasons 95 to 97, the sports show will return for a week.
The semi-finals and grand final are scheduled for January 21.
The event will open with Lyceum and San Sebastian clashing in the women’s play while the men’s action will kick off with a matchup between Beda and San Sebastian.
The women’s beach volleyball final between defending champions Red Lions and Perpetual Help will begin on the final day of the qualifiers (January 20).
On the second day of the tournament, title holders Emilio Aguinaldo College will rekindle their final rivalry with Altas in the men’s game.
The tournament will be held at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.
