Bawumia turns funeral to rally grounds as fans enthusiastically mob him

This unconventional trait seems to have paid dividends in more ways than one for Bawumia. At a point where the country is facing many challenges and politicians remain unpopular, Bawumia looks like this.

At the weekend, the Vice President inadvertently turned his funeral into a rallying point as he was heckled indefinitely by those who attended the funeral of Dr Dominic Eduah’s late mother.

The Executive Director of GNPC Foundation held the last burial ceremony for his late mother in Ajumako in the Central Region.

The Veep appeared at the funeral with several other members of the NPP, but the crowd went wild when his presence was announced.

He was constantly mobbed by excited funeral attendees as the program temporarily became a rallying point.

Samira Bawumia, who is joined by her husband, also received cheers.

The cheering crowd signaled their approval of President Dr. Bawumia’s desired offer.

Dr. Bawumia is used to encouraging people.

A few weeks ago, Bawumia was also greeted by cheering crowds in Tamale after he single-handedly funded the renovation of the Tamale Central Mosque.

Bawumia handed over the completed project to the leaders of the mosque including the Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Salam.

During the ceremony, the mosque leader thanked the Veep for his selfless act while the crowd hailed him as a hero.

Bawumia is expected to run for the NPP flag bearer even though he has not officially announced his intention.

He is expected to face stiff competition from former Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanten, Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong and others.

However, while Bawumia has yet to officially announce his bid, many political observers consider him a strong candidate for the position and videos such as this prove how he has created a very different reaction in the electorate than the other contenders.
