That’s all for another Bachelorette and significant other.
However, this relationship took longer than others associated with the franchise.
Via Instagram on Thursday, DeAnna Pappas announced that she has split from her husband of 11 years, Stephen Stagliano.
“It is with great sadness that Stephen and I have decided to end our relationship as a couple,” the former Bachelorette star wrote on January 19, adding:
“We have worked hard for a long time – as a married couple and as individuals – and have decided to remain separate.”
This is sad news, of course.
But I hope it works out for the best for all involved.
Pappas and Stagliano met through their cousin, Bachelorette alum Michael.
They got married in 2011 and are parents to 9-year-old daughter Addison and 7-year-old son Austin.
“We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison and Austin, and will continue to raise them with love and faith,” Pappas said.
“We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time as we navigate our new normal.
“We would like to thank our dear friends and family for their endless support and many prayers during this most difficult time of our lives.”
As a quick refresher:
Pappas rose to fame as a finalist on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor in 2007.
The following year, she was named the real Bachelorette Season 4… ending her run with Jesse Csincsak.
However, the couple broke up later that year.
In 2015, the very private couple opened up to People Magazine about the joys of parenthood.
“No one can prepare you for having a child and how your life is going to change, but I will say we’re pretty good at it,” Pappas said. “We’re a really good team.”
Added Stagliano at the time:
“People talk about being a mother and being a father and being a parent, but at least in my experience, nothing prepared me for… [falling] more in love with DeAnna and their teammate aspect.
“It’s true. Your marriage will be stronger because you are truly a team.
