Hiroshima Fireflies center Kai Sotto in the B.League. B. LEAGUE PHOTOS
MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto kept his cool as the Hiroshima Dragonflies won their third straight after defeating the Ibaraki Robots, 87-83, in the 2022-23 B.League season on Sunday at Adastria Mito Arena.
The 7-foot-3 center posted 14 points on 7-of-13 shooting and had nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
Sotto posted his second double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 90-72 win over the Robots on Saturday as the Dragonflies completed the weekend sweep to improve to 31-11 on the season.

Meanwhile, Carl Tamayo made his first start but was unable to make a mark in the Ryukyu Golden Kings’ 69-58 rout against the Shinshu Brave Warriors.
Tamayo was scoreless in 14 minutes of play but he contributed four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block as Ryukyu improved to 33-9.
Ray Parks Jr. dropped their second game in a row but the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins moved up to the sixth seed with a 29-13 record after defeating Osaka Evessa, 92-91, at Park Arena Komaki.
Thirdy Ravena poured in 15 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a block but San-En NeoPhoenix lost to the Sendai 89ers in overtime, 86-83, at Tooyohashi City Gymnasium.
San-En lost back-to-back to Sendai, dropping to a 17-25 slate.
Matthew Wright’s 14-point, three-rebound, three-assist game went in vain as the Kyoto Hannaryz (16-26) suffered an 83-62 loss to the Chiba Jets at Kyoto City Gymnasium.
Kiefer Ravena went scoreless in 19 minutes off the bench as Shiga Lakes couldn’t match its previous win, losing to the Toyama Grouses, 94-85, and sliding to a 6-36 card at Toyama City Gymnasium.
