The Drinking Water team is celebrating Val’s Day with a donation to the Cardiothoracic Center
Ghanaian manufacturing giant, Kasapreko Company Limited, Producer of Purified Drinking Water has made a first quarter donation of GH¢75,000 to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Cardiothoracic Center on Valentine’s Day.
This is part of the company’s “One4Life” charity project, which for many years has given hope and support to patients suffering from heart disease, especially children who cannot afford to pay the operation bills.

In a way to spread the love, some senior managers of the company spent Valentine’s Day with patients in the ward to share food, water, and other drinks.
The Marketing Manager of Kasapreko Company Limited, Miss Pearl Annoh, said the company has in the past seven years touched more than 115 patients through this initiative.
He urged the public to show their love to the vulnerable by purchasing Purified Awake Drinking Water, which has set aside a percentage of every 500ml purchase to the National Cardiothoracic Centre.
Dr. Lawrence Sereboe, immediate past Executive Director of the Cardiothoracic Center at Korle-Bu Hospital, praised Kasapreko for his endless help to the center for the past year.
He noted that the partnership between Kasapreko and the center has helped to save 115 patients, with most of them children.

“This is the seventh year we have partnered with Kasapreko through the charity project ‘One4Life’, and so far, it has helped many people to finance heart surgery, especially the children’s ward, who have various types of heart disease.” said.
Award-winning gospel musician and brand ambassador for Awake Purified Drinking Water, Diana Hamilton, also thanked Kasapreko Company Limited for keeping their promises to patients and appreciating consumers for continuing to believe in the Awake purified water brand.
“A big thank you to everyone who came into the store and chose the Awake brand over other water, and a big thank you to Kasapreko for keeping their promises over the years,” he said.
