There must be something in the Bravo water because these inter-cast hookups are getting hotter.
As the news recently broke that Southern charm star, Taylor Ann GreenHooked up with a cast mate (and ex-boyfriend Rose Shepbest friend) Austen Kroll After last season’s reunion, a new source revealed that even though an insider said the interaction was just cheating, and that they “just made it up,” the couple is seriously thinking about taking their friendship “to the next level.”
“They are thinking about dating and need time to think [it] take a moment, talk to his family,” a source close to the production told PEOPLE. “But at the end of the day, Taylor said it’s not worth losing Olivia [Flowers’] The friendship that he and Austen did not work, and he was at a low point after that [the] reunion.”
As Southern charm fans know, Austen and Olivia dated for almost six months before breaking it off. As the cameras have started rolling for season nine, the source alleges that Olivia knows about the hookup and has even filmed the scene addressing the incident.
Taylor Ann, who is super close to Olivia, apparently doesn’t put too much stock in how she and Austen’s tryst will affect friends as the source said, “Austen and Taylor were close before they even knew Olivia existed. And Olivia and Austen never interacted.”
Adding, “Olivia wanted a relationship, but Austen was never committed,”
As for Shep, who infamously has monogamy problems, he “doesn’t seem to care” about Austen hooking up with his ex, despite Austen previously stating that he would not “cross the line” with Taylor Ann. Of course, Shep and Taylor Ann didn’t end their relationship on the best of terms.
During their eight-season reunion, Taylor Ann famously screamed at Shep for allegedly sleeping with “over 300 wh*res” and “multiple women in Texas” after their breakup.
The two apparently made out while attending BravoCon 2022.
“I’m sorry for jumping down your throat,” Taylor told Shep. “There is a lot of love. I know people who are sitting [here] today.”
Southern charm season nine is expected to air sometime later this year.
