Augustine Okrah goes top of GPL top scorers chart after brace against Eleven Wonders

Bechem United talisman Augustine Okrah has surged to the top of the Ghana Premier League goal king chart, heading into the last four matches of the 2025/26 season. 

The veteran forward currently leads the standings with 13 goals, after netting a superb brace in his team’s 3-1 victory over Eleven Wonders.  

Hot on his heels are Samuel Attah Kumi of Gold Stars SC and Richmond Opoku of Young Apostles FC, both tied on 12 goals. Their close proximity keeps the competition wide open, with any slip from Okrah likely to shift the balance in the closing weeks. 

Salim Adams of Medeama SC follows with 11 goals and remains firmly in the race should he finish the season strongly. Meanwhile, Suraj Seidu of Dreams FC rounds out the top five with 10 goals. 

While Augustine Okrah currently holds the lead, the challenge will be maintaining his form under pressure, especially with the last four matches coming thick and fast. 

All the players in the top five, however, are capable of claiming the award at the end of the season.
