Tragic news from Audrina Patridge today.
MTV star The Hills revealed on Instagram that 15-year-old niece Sadie Loza has died suddenly.
Audrina showed a carousel of photos of Sadie, including several of her aunt and niece enjoying the warm glow of each other.
She captioned the post with a loving tribute to Sadie.
“It hurts my heart to even write this. My beautiful niece is now in heaven,” Audrina wrote.
“I understand [it’s] it’s not goodbye forever, but the hardest part is saying goodbye now,” she said.
“We will miss you and cherish every moment with you. Rest in peace Say Say!! We love you forever!
Sadie is the daughter of Audrina’s sister, Casey Patridge Loza, who also paid tribute to the late teenager,
“Sadie Raine Loza has left this Earth for heaven,” he wrote.
“Writing this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
“His story will save countless lives, his memory will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace you are a brilliant star,” Casey concluded.
Casey then says that she doesn’t have the right words to express her sadness, but she finds comfort in remembering Sadie’s favorite physics lesson, which can provide the key to understanding the joys of life and the pan of death.
“The first law of thermodynamics aka (Law of Conservation of Energy) works in all areas of life… .. ‘Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another,'” he wrote.
“Transformation is a better word than death.”
Many of Audrina’s celebrity friends offered their condolences in the comments section of the post.
Brody Jenner wrote, “So sorry Audrina. This is heartbreaking. Sending love to you and your family.”
Kristin Cavallari commented, “Omgggg this is killing me.”
“Audrey! I’m sorry! sending all the love and light to you and your family,” wrote Rachel Bilson.
“Sending you and your family lots of love,” said Ashley Greene.
News of Sadie’s death comes just a week after Audrina gathered with family to celebrate her niece’s fifteenth birthday.
“I can’t believe you’re 15,” Casey wrote on Instagram at the time. “It feels like years ago and we still have so many adventures to do! aliens in sedona, portals, learning to drive in the desert hahah.
No cause of death has been revealed, but based on comments from loved ones, it seems that Sadie had braved several chronic illnesses.
