Just two months after the pregnancy debut, ex Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day had announced the heartbreaking news that she had miscarried.
“I am beyond heartbroken to announce that I have miscarried,” Aubrey shared with E! News. “It’s not my first pregnancy, but it’s the first time I’m mentally healthy and in a place where I’m physically prepared to take care of another life.”
The singer and reality star has been open about her desire to become a mother, and her devastating loss sometimes feels like she’s the one to blame.
“I have moments when I remember what happened,” he continued, “and blame myself, but luckily I know it’s not just one seat at the table.”
Aubrey hopes that through her struggle she can help other women who have suffered tragic loss, and she opens up to be a “sounding board”.
“I also want all the women around the world who are going through this hardship to feel all the love that my soul has to offer, and more importantly keep reminding us that we are here to support each other!” at Marriage Bootcamp: Reality stars contestant continues. “So if you need someone to talk to, hit me up on Instagram [@aubreyoday] and I will be your sounding board and someone you can trust.”
On Monday, March 6, Aubrey posted a message to her Instagram about the loss.
“I wouldn’t change a thing,” he wrote. “I think it’s important to let things happen and keep ‘happening’. People change so you can learn to let go. Many things go wrong so you appreciate when they’re right… And sometimes the things you want the most fall apart so something better can be one.
“Everything happens for a reason,” she concluded, “love yourself.”
Aubrey also reached out to his followers, letting them know that they have seen all of his sincere messages and that he has become a light when he was dark.
“I love you all. Thank you for the sweet message ‘baby Aubrey is going to be a force to be reckoned with’,” she told E!. “I smile every time I see them, and you know that’s the truth!”
