Atiku wins in Adamawa, defeats Tinubu, Obi, Kwankwaso — Nigeria — The Guardian Nigeria News – Nigeria and World News

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has been declared the winner of the Saturday, February 25 presidential election in Adamawa State.

Atiku polled a total of 417, 611 votes according to the results announced Monday evening by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collating officer for the 21 Local Government Areas (LGA) in the country.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC), Bola Tinubu, polled with a total of 182,881 votes.

On the other hand, the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, polled 105,648 votes, while the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, got 8,006 votes.

The total number of registered voters in the country is 2,196,566 while the accredited voters are 764,834.

The total number of valid votes was 731,140, ​​the number of rejected votes was 30,481, and the total number of votes was 761,621.
