By now, you’ve probably heard about the biggest reality TV cheating scandal in recent memory.
We are talking, of course, about the revelation that Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss made in a few months, even though he had a nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.
Folks, this thing has taken on a life of its own now, with ripples and layers that no one could have imagined when the story broke.
For example, Raquel said Scheana Shay punched her in the face and gave her a black eye when she first heard the news.
Under normal circumstances, that would be a major scandal in itself.
So, Scheana-gate has been overshadowed by the never-ending drama of Valley Village, the LA suburb that used to be home to three have fun Vanderpump pair.
(To everyone’s shock, Jax and Brittany are the only ones left standing — but they’ve been fired from the show, so we’re not sure if they’re eligible to be Vanderpump pair.)
Anyway, Tom and Raquel are both in damage control mode, but so far, attempts to explain their actions have failed.
Sandoval has now issued two apologies – shockingly, he neglected to mention Ariana in one – but fans remain unconvinced of his sincerity.
And it looks like she’s not the only one, as TMZ is now reporting that Ariana has rejected Tom’s attempts to make amends.
The pair reportedly had one live contact since the scandal broke, and Bravo cameras were on hand to capture the interaction.
Producers say that the footage will be worked on for the tenth season Vanderpumpwhich is currently being aired.
Tom has reportedly been willing to film since, which is probably just what Ariana is looking for.
He was currently in Mexico attending a friend’s party, and thankfully, Tom wasn’t there.
(This is not the result of scandal, as Sandoval apparently declined the invitation months ago due to prior commitments.)
Meanwhile, the situation turned into a PR nightmare beyond what Sandoval could have imagined, according to the British tabloids. Sun now shining light on Tom’s alleged fraught financial situation.
The outlet claims that Tom and Ariana owe him $37,000 in taxes.
Sun also alleges that Sandoval made the situation more precarious when he took a major risk and opened a second restaurant shortly after they took out a $2 million mortgage.
And as Vanderpump viewers know, the early days of Schwartz & Sandy have not been smooth sailing.
In addition to the difficulty of recording in the current season from Vanderpumpsources now claim that Sandoval and Schwartz failed to pay for the liquor license in both restaurants, which means that now customers cannot order a cocktail in either location.
Needless to say, Sandoval’s recent bad press may not bode well for business at either restaurant.
Just one more way Ariana appears to have the last laugh.
