Ariana Madix is back on good terms with her younger brother, Jeremy Madix.
Over two years after Jeremy confirmed their estrangement, saying that he hadn’t heard from the 40-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum “in months” and later revealing that their feud was centered around drama between Ariana and his fiancée, Rachael, Jeremy shared a slideshow of throwback photos, the first of which featured him and Ariana on the red carpet.
“Late to this online 2016 reunion party,” he captioned the April 16 post.
Then, after Ariana signaled the “zipper ride pic” in a comment, Jeremy offered a response.
“Yes!! Haha I knew you’d appreciate that!” he wrote.
As Pump Rules fans may recall, Jeremy made an appearance on No Filter With Zack Peter in August of last year, where he offered an update on his relationship with Ariana, sharing that they were “doing great.”
“[Recently our mom] broke her femur, so she’s been going through kind of rehabilitating that … [and she’s] feeling kind of emotional and alone. So my sister and I have kind of come together to rally around my mom and kind of lift her up a bit. And through that, [Ariana and I have] grown closer,” he explained.
Then, after admitting that their feud began when he was “going through something” and did things he “shouldn’t have,” Jeremy suggested Scheana Shay, 40, played a role in their tension.
“I believe [Scheana] referred to me as problematic,” he said. “[It] hurt my feelings [because] … Scheana and I have always been close. She’s always been like another sister to me … So when she kind of said that I was problematic, it made me kind of ask the question, were you using me to hurt Ariana this whole time? Because I know you guys were kind of having a moment there. Did you kind of pull me in closer in that time to … add some salt to the wound?”
“Her saying that kind of raised a red flag,” he concluded.
