Late last year, Jamal Menzies and Veronica Rodriguez announced their relationship in 90 Days: The Single Life To All.
Many fans were delighted to see these two hotties together in a seemingly random couple. Others have reservations, predicting that the casual romance won’t last. (Aren’t they the same?)
Now, new photos have nay-sayers wondering if they are true.
Are Jamal and Veronica still together?
First, let’s recap, because some people are still (understandably) playing catchup.
And many have to remember that some fans won’t watch it 90 Days: The Single Life‘s last season for a while.
Veronica Rodriguez is part of the cast this season. They are dating but the guy is an af–kboy. At Tell All time, they were done. But Veronica is no longer single.
Before Veronica’s girlfriend revealed, there was some hype – in promos and on social media.
The hint makes anyone who sees all the pieces that her new man can only be one.
and 90 Day Engagement blogger John Yates also confirmed, before Tell All, that it will be Jamal Menzies.
Jamal walks out onto the stage and hugs Veronica.
He is the son of Kimberly Menzies, who appeared in both 90 Day Engagement: Before 90 Days and 90 Day Engagement: Happily Ever After?
Jamal is a fan favorite. He was handsome, patient, and the voice of reason his mother often needed.
But Jamal’s mother is in San Diego. Jamal mostly lives in New York. Veronica is from Charlotte.
These are three major cities on two different coasts. How did they meet?
Turns out Veronica was just asking a fellow 90 Day Engagement man – Jamal – what to do while he is in San Diego. He invited her to dinner. Naturally, these two hotties ended up banging.
As explained in Tell All, they are aloof and therefore remain relaxed.
It is, Veronica shared, her advice to have an open relationship. That way, they can have fun without getting a chance.
That said, he admits that he hasn’t benefited from an open relationship. Veronica blames this on “laziness”, and many people agree.
Some cast members – Tim Malcolm, who has his own problems, and others with more dated ideas about relationships – do not like that.
And some viewers with the same old ideas about relationships and monogamy also cried foul.
It’s not just that they predict the collapse of the relationship. They suspected that Veronica would catch his feelings and end up with a broken heart.
However, very recently, we got an update – and it’s not Jamal with anyone else.
However, on January 8, Veronica took to her Instagram story to show the new guy.
He didn’t identify her or show her enough to be recognizable to anyone. But he always seemed, um, friendly.
Does that mean she and Jamal are done? Without real confirmation, we can at least report the sight unseen. Not according to Jamal.

It looks like Veronica is finally taking advantage of her open relationship status with Jamal. good for him!
