Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tore into President Donald Trump’s administration for failing to hold Jeffrey Epstein associates accountable while calling former President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary Clinton’s upcoming congressional testimony about the late sex offender essential to the “integrity” of the investigation.
The progressive firebrand and 2028 presidential prospect told MeidasTouch the inquiry wouldn’t result in real justice without “bipartisan” involvement but slammed Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice over the lack of prosecutions related to Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operation.
“I think it’s important that the integrity of this investigation,” she said of the Clintons’ testimony during an interview on the steps on congress late Monday.

Saying ongoing revelations about Epstein’s high-profile orbit and who may have known about his crimes are “uniting and shocking the American people across partisan lines,” Ocasio-Cortez added, “I think that everyone with information needs to participate in a investigation that opens so many questions.”
But the congresswoman had her own questions for Bondi and the DOJ, asking why the government was “continuing to hide the majority of the Epstein files” despite their own admission the documents contain “direct evidence” of a “shocking,” vast and disturbing criminal conspiracy.
“We need to get to the bottom of it,” she went on. “Everyone needs to participate in this investigation.”
Ocasio-Cortez called the Clintons’ forthcoming testimony in front of the House Oversight Committee a step in the right direction, saying anyone with Epstein information should be on the record, no matter if they’re Republicans, Democrats or well-heeled political donors.
“We are talking about sexual crimes and trafficking of children, women and victims of all kinds, and it seems to go into such a pervasive and extensive extent,” she said.
Late Monday, the Clintons yielded to threats of criminal contempt charges as they agreed to testify about Epstein under oath. The decision was a stunning shift from the political power couple, who have spent months snubbing subpoenas from the Oversight Committee’s GOP chairman, Rep. James R. Comer (Ky.).
Their move comes after a massive round of Epstein releases on Friday, disclosures that include 3.5 million pages of documents, according to the DOJ.
