As fans eagerly await the highly anticipated season of “aggressive” 10 reunions of Vanderpump Rules after the aftermath and fall of Scandoval, Andy Cohen revealed more details behind the close physical altercation that went down between two unidentified cast members during filming.
“Let me tell you something — I didn’t leave with bruises, but I was charged with action,” Andy told Page Six of the near confrontation while attending Variety’s 2023 Power of Women event in New York City on Tuesday.
The incident has become a hot topic among fans, and when asked if viewers will be surprised or “surprised” who was involved, he played coy.
“Listen, you know who the people are on stage; they are all hotheads! So I mean, surprised? It doesn’t surprise me. I mean, it’s a bunch of hotheads in a hothouse environment,” Andy said.
At Vanderpump Rules cast has been seething after the news broke that star Tom Sandoval and Rachel Levis have been having an affair for several months during their relationship with their partner in the past decade, Ariana Madix. Most of the cast is generally “Team Ariana” and shows no mercy to Sandoval or Raquel.
However, Andy is in no rush to choose sides and maintains that while he remains “friendly” with Raquel and Sandoval, he is disappointed in the couple, especially Sandoval.
“I will say that as a person who has been friendly with two people – and he is from St. Louis; he is from my hometown – yes, I am disappointed,” Andy explained. But also, he’s from my hometown, and we’re friends like that. You want everyone involved to be happy and successful and flourish.
Andy also spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the event and elaborated further on the reunion, describing the sit-down as “an account that I think people are looking for and very confrontational.”
“There is just so much on the table that needs to be said,” he said Watch What Happens Live the host continues. “And everyone has something to say.”
Andy has hosted “hundreds” of reunions between all of his shows on the Bravosphere, but he says that Vanderpump Rules Season 10 Reunion is one for the history books and should leave fans feeling content.
“I have now completed hundreds of reunions, and I will say, this will be the top 10. I think the fans will be satisfied,” he concluded.
