Andy Cohen open about Vanderpump Rules scandal involving Tom Sandovalwho reportedly lied Ariana Madix with Rachel Lewis for a month, in the latest episode of the SiriusXM radio show.
A few days after Raquel stopped him when he declared Sandoval as the “funniest” of the two Toms Watch What Happens Livedespite her hot 2022 fling with Tom SchwartzAndy revealed what Scheana Shay spoke to her castmate during a commercial break, look back at Sandoval and Raquel’s interaction at BravoCon, and reacted to Ariana’s possible devastation.
“I said, ‘Who’s cuter, Tom, Sandoval or Schwartz?’ [And Raquel and Scheana] both say ‘Sandoval.’ I looked up and said to Raquel, ‘Oh, you said Sandoval, hmm,’ and we moved,” Andy recalled in the March 6 episode. Andy Cohen Live.
While Andy didn’t think much of the comment, Scheana asked Raquel during a commercial break.
“During the commercial break, Scheana said to … Raquel, ‘You know I just voted for Sandoval, because I knew you were going to vote for Schwartz,’ and Raquel said, ‘Wow, Sandoval has abs’ and kind of shrugged, so you know. interesting,” he said.
Andy also appears again in Sandoval and Schwartz appears together in the WWHLwhich aired on February 8.
“When Schwartz was with Sandoval, I believe in the premier night, there was some strange energy between them,” he revealed. “Schwartz looks at Sandoval all the time – almost for guidance on the answer. So the big question is, when did Schwartz find out about this? I mean, that’s one of the big questions.
Although it’s hard to say if Schwartz knew about Sandoval’s rumored romance with Raquel before the news was shared with the public on Friday, he was in the middle of it, if reports are true, when he attended BravoCon.
“I was on the show, and I was standing there and Raquel was standing behind me and Ariana was in front of me, and you could see how she looked at Sandoval. Wild,” Andy shared of Sandoval’s performance on the show.
After learning of the allegations against Sandoval on Thursday, a day before the rest of the world, Andy’s production team went back to work. Pump Rules season 10 – even though the season wrapped months ago.
“The cameras have been on everyone, getting reactions and filming so you can see this play, with a feel, this season. Vanderpump Rulesbefore the reunion,” he confirmed.
When fans will finally see the fallout from the rumored relationship on the show, Andy said it will be eerie for fans watching the episodes leading up to it.
“When you watch the rest of the season Vanderpump Rules with the overlay knowing that Raquel and Sandoval — what happened to them and what could have happened — is amazing,” he said, via PEOPLE. “Even Wednesday night’s episode, you wouldn’t believe it. Watch with this overlay, there’s a moment between Ariana and Raquel where you can see their friendship, which is great. You won’t believe it.”
Regarding the heartbreak Ariana must have suffered after being “blindsided” by the allegations, Andy admitted it was “very upsetting” and “quite shocking”.
“Bad. Ariana misses. We have watched this relationship from the beginning and you just, you feel for him. I mean, that’s the title. It’s one of the titles. That should be the first thing when you go, ‘Poor Ariana.’ He is a treasure,” he said.
Also on the radio show, as reported by Page Six, who confirmed the reunion movie in two weeks, Andy described the cheating scandal as “disturbing.”
“This reunion is going to be… I’m girding my loins,” he added of the reunion, per PEOPLE.
