Anambra State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with seven real estate developers to assist the government in its vision to transform the state capital into a smart mega city.
The Managing Director, Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), Mark Okoye, and the Land Commissioner, Prof.
In his speech at the ceremony, Okoye said the pact is in line with the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to build smart mega cities and transform investment, as well as the economic landscape of the country.
He said that the company was selected after many proposals and a rigorous screening process, while also charging to ensure quality, with clear precision and accuracy.
He further explained that the governor has directed to reach out, engage and collaborate with the private sector to attract investment to the state.
He added: “During the past four months, we have more than 60 real estate proposals with detailed analysis. The governor confirmed a three-year deadline as long as the company is competent to deliver quality projects.
