As most celebrity gossip followers know by now, Amy Slaton is about to file for divorce.
A source confirmed this week that the 1000-lb Sisters star has grown sick and tired of her husband Michael, especially the lack of help in the parenting department, and has finally thrown in the romantic towel.
Slaton has moved out of his Kentucky home, this insider even reports.
But, what led to that decision? How did the couple who welcomed their second child last summer go from highs to lows so quickly?
“[Michael] do not want children to be in the show, but Amy does not agree, “The Sun now claims, quoting people familiar with both couples.
“They’ve been fighting this for months.”
Interesting, huh?
Just a few days ago, we heard that Amy and Tammy weren’t happy about their paychecks, while the same report claimed that Amy is cuter than her sister because, technically, her son gets a paycheck too.
On last week’s episode of the TLC program, Amy cried because she felt like she was taking care of two children alone.
The Sun insider also now says that Amy and her family think Michael is “lazy” looking after the children, and are “jealous” of all the attention her husband gives to their children.
Amy and Michael welcomed son Glenn in July last year; they are also parents to a two-year-old named Gage.
In order to give birth safely, Amy worked hard years ago to lose enough weight to pass gastric bypass surgery.
The stars met in high school and married in March 2019.
“They have been in trouble since last year,” wrote The Sun in an early article about this impending divorce, an ironic and unfortunate moment.
How?
Because Tammy just got married in November 2022.
“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Tammy recently told E! The news of the exchange of vows with Caleb Willingham was only two months ago.
“God really blessed me.”
Tammy met Caleb at an Ohio rehab facility where he has been living since early 2022.
The newlyweds even got married in the parking lot of the same building.
“You all know me as Tammy Slaton, but now you’ll know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham,” Tammy told People Magazine at the time. “I’m married now!”
Too bad, they can’t say more than Amy Slaton.
