As we all know, Amy Slaton is no longer happy in her marriage.
But that doesn’t mean the 1,000-lb Sisters star isn’t happy overall in life — or that she can’t find at least some happy moments here and there.
Amy and her co-star/sister Tammy were spotted just a few days ago at Walmart in Evansville, Indiana…
Tammy, who had just gotten out of rehab, carried a small brown and white portable oxygen tank and drove an electric wheelchair around the store at the time.
But the real story here and the real focus here is Amy.
According to The Sun, he moved from his home in Kentucky late last month and took his two sons with him; he now lives with Tammy.
Amy will soon file for divorce from her husband Michael, the same outlet has reported.
“Amy said Michael is lazy, and has been jealous of the attention to the children,” wrote The Sun this week. “He’s been in trouble since last year.”
We don’t know what the problem is between Amy and her husband.
However, the former ditched the latest episode of Sisters 1000-lb after Michael just sat around drinking beer with friends instead of helping his sons.
“You shouldn’t be doing this alone,” Amanda’s sister said to Amy as she offered help in time.
“You are married and have a husband, and he must be a father too.”
Amy and Michael are parents to two-year-old Gage and a second son named Glenn who was born in July last year.
They met in high school and married on March 15, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee.
“My husband Michael, he means the world to me. Michael and I are newlyweds, but it’s been four years now,” said Slaton in the series premiere in January 2020.
“I can say anything and everything. And Michael is really supportive of me helping Tammy.
In a follow-up article, The Sun delve a little more into the ongoing issues that prompted Amy to walk away from her relationship.
“[Michael] didn’t want kids on the show, but Amy didn’t agree,” an insider told this publication on Wednesday, adding:
“They’ve been fighting this for months.”
How very unfortunate.
While Amy’s marriage has fallen apart, ironically, Tammy has moved on and found the love of her life.
She married a rehab patient named Caleb in November.
“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Tammy recently told E! The news of the exchange of vows with Caleb Willingham was only two months ago.
“God really blessed me.”
