Amy Robach & TJ Holmes back to where the romance is supposed to begin – the New York City Half Marathon!
For those who don’t follow this controversial couple, there are reports that their years-long friendship has become even more intense as they train for the March 2022 half marathon. In fact, an Us Weekly an insider previously claimed “the bond is made stronger because [T.J.’s support]” when they started training together – it’s not like he’s now your ex-husband Andrew Shue who is not happy that he “challenged himself to run four marathons in 2022.” That’s when Amy and TJ’s romantic relationship began. Weeks before their relationship went public, the duo ran the NYC marathon in November. And now, he’s back to racing again!
ex Good morning America co-anchors were photographed walking together in Times Square and Central Park for 13.1 miles. United Airlines New York City Half Marathon together on Sunday morning. according to Page Six, TJ and Amy apparently tried to go undetected during the race as their names were not included in the list of celebrity runners in advance – they had done it the previous year. Given the scandalous (and early) nature of their relationship, it’s no surprise that they tried to remain anonymous on the show.

The 45-year-old journalist even wore an all-black outfit with a black beanie and neon green sneakers. Meanwhile, the 50-something wore a white jacket paired with blue leggings, a black shirt, orange running shoes, and sunglasses. You can ch-ch-check the pics from the event (below):

Per dailymail.com, the couple started at around 7 am, and they crossed the finish line at around 10 am – arriving in about three hours to complete the marathon. We think the reported “personal intimate training” really does give you “extra stamina”. LOLz!
The appearance at the marathon comes shortly after Amy finalized her divorce from Andrew out of court. While details of the settlement remain under wraps, the former couple reportedly have joint custody of the dog, Brody. For TJ? He filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, in December but not done yet. And of course, Amy and TJ not only left their marriage, but also got fired from their jobs. Good morning America at the height of the scandal of his affairs. Spokesperson from ABC said at the time:
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it was best for everyone to move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and thank them for their contributions.
