Ambyr Childers granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband Randall Emmett in a Los Angeles court last month after the FBI investigation was supposed to be against the film producer.
After the previous request was rejected due to lack of evidence, the 34-year-old actress returned to court, where she filed another document against Randall, 51, revealing that the call from the special agent of the FBI caused her “very broken. and the harassment of [her] emotional calmness and peace of mind” because his two daughters, London, 12, and Rylee, 9, are “often alone” with him.
In a January 5 report shared by the Los Angeles Times, it was confirmed that on December 22, a judge ordered Randall to stay 100 yards away from Ambyr and not contact him except for “brief and peaceful” discussions about the children.
As for Ambyr’s communication with the FBI, he said that he reached out on December 6, wanting to know about Randall’s “suspected child exploitation activities”, and he noted that he was concerned about the “risk” of his children being with Randall. care if “federal law enforcement serves an arrest or search warrant on him or her premises.”
Although an FBI spokesman could not “confirm or deny the existence of an investigation” to The Times, Randall denied the investigation, saying he was “not under investigation by the FBI or anyone else, and the notion that I am is beyond absurd.”
“There is zero evidence that I was investigated for anything,” he said. “I am shocked and in disbelief that Ambyr would even hint at something so disgusting and untrue.”
According to Randall, who shared legal custody with Ambyr, the claims made against him were “designed to destroy my career without any evidence whatsoever.” But according to The Times, he has spoken to three others who also claim to have been contacted by the FBI about Randall’s alleged conduct.
Attorney Ambyr, Larry Buckmanspeaking to The Times, responding to a statement from Randall’s family attorney, Heather M. Patrickwho said that the lawyer represented him and Randall in the middle of “resolving global unfounded allegations” against Randall.
“The court issued a protective order against Randall Emmett based on evidence of abuse. If Emmett insists he is lying, he should try the matter in a Court of Law instead of the media,” he said. “I can confirm that Emmett’s previous advisors have never discussed a settlement.”
The lawyer also stated that he is “open to discussing the terms and conditions of a settlement on behalf of my client.”
In addition to Ambyr accusing Randall of “physical and emotional abuse” of her during their eight marriages, claiming he “tried to strangle” her during post-nuptial agreement discussions, which Randall denied, Vanderpump Rules cast members Lala Kentrung said Randall “tackled” her and “knocked her to the ground” after she confronted him about his alleged cheating, which he also denied.
The lawyer representing Lala, who shares her one-year-old daughter Samudra with Randall, confirmed that Lala was aware of the allegations against Randall.
“We are deeply concerned about the allegations,” he said Daniel J. Paletz. “At this time, our only focus is on the safety of children and making sure that children and victims who may come forward are protected.”
A court hearing has been set for January 12 for further discussion of Ambyr’s restraining order.
Vanderpump Rules Season 10 will reportedly premiere on Bravo on February 8.
