Allowing Meek Mill to shoot a music video in the Presidency is ‘unacceptable’ – Alex Segbefia

A former Deputy Chief of Staff, Alex Segbefia is totally disappointed in the government to allow the American rapper, Meek Mill to shoot a music video in the Presidency.

Meek Mill and his crew were seen in a viral video belting out explicit lyrics and dancing at Jubilee House.

His visit to the presidency follows his appearance at the Afronation Concert on December 29, 2022.

The rapper and his crew then stood in front of the podium that the President usually uses during his national speeches, to take some pictures.

Meek Mill and his team also shot some drones in front of Jubilee House.

Some Ghanaians took to social media to express their concern over the development.

In an interview on Eyewitness News, Mr. Segbefia said the act was unacceptable.

“In today’s climate, where Ghanaians are looking to the government to create a better economy for them, some of these things are not necessary. Not long before this, we had foreigners in this country and we saw people booing the President. His advisers should know about this and also remember that we are being watched.

“This is unnecessary and unacceptable in any shape or form,” he said.

The Deputy Campaign Manager of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2020 said the government owes Ghanaians an explanation.
