Family fun! Before his death, Stephen “tWitch” Boss was happy to give a glimpse of his life with his wife Allison Holker and three children.
ex Dance With The Stars pro became a mother in 2008 when she welcomed daughter Weslie with her ex-fiancé. He is married to The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ five years later, and Boss became his little stepdad.
The Alabama native called Weslie “easily one of the most conscientious people” he’s ever met in May 2020 while celebrating his 12th birthday. “Man, he’s growing up so fast,” he captioned an Instagram slideshow. “I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman you are. Best sister. Amazing artist. Taki fan. Great ear for music. Giving heart. Entrepreneur. Bold but respectful. Mad style. The world is yours to storm. Year more discoveries and history.
The actor went on to write, “You know me, mom, Maddox and Zaia always have our backs, fronts, and sides. Today is the day the world got an angel to keep walking with us. I love you, Wes.”
She and Holker are also parents to son Maddox and daughter Zaia, who arrived in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
The exclusive couple told Us Weekly in February 2020 who may not have any more children. “We’re not against it or doing it,” the Minnesota native said at the time. “We just want to make sure that all the kids always have enough attention to be fully loved. I don’t want any kid to feel like they don’t have enough attention to do their activities, so that’s what we’re thinking about. We’ll see how it goes.
While her husband initially “loved the idea of a big family” and wanted “seven or eight” children, she told him. us“I witnessed childbirth and the number dropped drastically for me. It was like, ‘Oh, it’s okay. Actually, even if you want to have it.'”
Going from a family of four to five resulted in a major schedule change, Holker added at the time. “Morning routine and night routine [were established], then you bring home the third child and everything is messed up,” she explained. “You have to change everything. I think, right now, we’re thinking about what’s affected at home, but the kids themselves are really sweet.
In December 2022, the So You Think You Can Dance alum died at the age of 40.
