Two candidate flagbearers on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and former Minister of Energy Boakye Agyarko, on Saturday met in Koforidua, the capital of the Eastern Region to campaign for support for the presidential bid.

The two men were in the area to sell their campaign message to delegates and happened to meet at the Regional Party office in Koforidua, where they both shared jokes and banter.

Boakye Agyarko was the first to join the Regional Executive of the party, followed by Alan.

Alan Kyerematen has so far started his campaign from the Ashanti Region called ‘Homecoming’ as well as visiting other regions before attacking Koforidua.

In Koforidua On Friday, Alan paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the New Juaben Traditional Council, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, then joined the Regional Executive of the party and that day engaged with 33 constituency executives in the area.
