The governorship candidate of the Labor Party in Akwa Ibom State, Uduakobong Udoh, has vowed to reject the election results if they are not pasted in the polling units and also posted to INEC’s online portal, IReV.
Mr. Udoh, who expressed his disappointment at the results of the February 25 election in the state, said it was not the results collated in the polling unit announced by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Addressing journalists on Saturday at the polling unit in Ikot Udoro Oku, Ward 11 Unit 11 of Uyo Local Government, Mr. Uduak said he hoped it would happen when the presidential election was not repeated.

“I have served INEC with an injunction ordering them to paste the results (in the polling units) and also to send them, so anything outside that is not transparent, credible and in violation of the electoral law and is unacceptable,” he said.
PREMIUM TIMES reports that the federal high court ordered INEC in Akwa Ibom to follow the guidelines and ensure polling unit results are promptly uploaded on the electoral commission’s IReV portal.
