More than 200ml of rain has fallen in the past three days and SA20 Commissioner Graeme Smith said a weather consultant had advised heavy rain would fall on Saturday evening, prompting him to postpone the final to midday, hours before the 4.30pm start.
The weather forecast is better for Sunday evening, and the Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape would rather play a full 20-over game on Sunday than the abbreviated five-over lottery on Saturday evening.
