The Association of Facility Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AFMPN) has intensified its engagement with key Lagos State government institutions in a strategic push to strengthen infrastructure governance, improve public asset management, and advance professional facility management as a critical driver of sustainable economic development in Nigeria.

In a series of high-level courtesy visits led by the Association’s President, Dr. Olumide Aina, AFMPN engaged the Lagos State Infrastructure and Asset Management Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA), Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA), Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory (LSMTL), Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO), and the Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA).

Aina said the engagements form part of AFMPN’s broader strategy to deepen collaboration between government institutions and facility management professionals, while promoting international best practices in infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, public safety, environmental sustainability, and capacity development.
