Adriana de Moura believe Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Patton planned to take him down in the fifth season of Real Housewives of Miami.
As the friendship of longtime friends begins to fall apart, Adriana suspects that Alexia and Marysol intend to “bring discord” between them when they attach an analogy that strikes her, comparing her injured ankle to Alexia’s son. “It’s really predatorial,” said Adriana in the February 27 episode of Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef about the behavior of Alexia and Marysol.
According to Adriana, she believes her former friends targeted her in season five because she felt vulnerable after the divorce.
“I call him a fairweather friend because when I got married at the top of the game and I felt that I had something to do, then he became my friend. Now he feels less relevant,” he explained, he “never had a problem with” Alexia or Marysol or doing ” anything for him.”
“I was very surprised … because throughout the year … I was there for them,” he added.
Looking back at her comments about Frankie, Adriana said that Alexia “twisted” her statement.
“He had planned to roll everything. He was just waiting for the moment. And I think that I made a bad analogy, I just gave him on a silver plate and then ran away with him,” explained Adriana.
That said, Adriana really regrets the comment.
“I know that there is a bad analogy … I shouldn’t have said it … And I regret it. And I will take back those words if I can because my goal is the opposite,” he insisted. “What I mean by the bad analogy is empathy from him.”
“I have apologized too much, too much on camera, off camera and he continues to kick me down… and act as if he never said anything offensive to anyone without meaning it,” Adriana continued. “[It] made me think of when he shamed a trans woman at a pride event where he was going to be honored as a gay marshal.
Speaking about the upsetting incident, Adriana said that before Alexia took the stage, she told her fiancé, Todd Nepola“It’s a man.”
“He needs to know because sometimes we say things we don’t mean, right? He might sound quite offensive, but you don’t mean it, you know, you just say it without thinking,” said Adriana. “If we ask this woman, how will she feel about this comment… People who have undergone changes and operations and are ashamed and happy to defeat this body if they come into this world and be themselves… people are just easy eliminate and [says], ‘Oh, it’s a man.’ How offensive is that?”
When Adriana says that Todd named Alexia’s parenting after her oldest son, Peter Roselloarrested in 2021, he “never criticized her” or “said a single word of judgment or disrespect.”
Meanwhile, Adriana continued, Alexia “crossed me and came out to emotionally lynch me.”
Adriana continues to shade Alexia for staging “war grief” and downplaying their losses RHOM star, Guerdy Abraira.
“When I was shooting a music video and I was on a boat with Guerdy and Guerdy mentioned it [the passing] of her brother and her niece and nephew who, you know, smashed into the debris from the hurricane,” she recalled, “Alexia said, ‘I don’t care because my son was in a car accident.’ So insensitive comments to Guerdy.
And who can forget how Alexia suggested Adriana date a married man (because she didn’t scroll through the documents she found, which clarified her true marital status)?
“I found someone who likes me, finally likes me [we] since the date. And before that [the interaction with Alexia]he has [told] man … ‘She doesn’t know, but I will marry her one day.’ So he really went to me and [I] the happiness of having someone who [I] may have something to do with it. But after that he was gone,” Adriana confirmed. “They’re bothering me… They don’t want to be a part of this poisoning.”
Even though Adriana and Thierry had their last talk, there was no room to make amends. However, Thierry told her, when he told her, “I don’t know if this is for me because your life is complicated… I have to deal with this… With this type. [woman] who will not stop to slander people.”
“He’s a reputable doctor… He can’t jeopardize all his practice,” Adriana noted.
Believing that Alexia is “very smart” and “very cunning,” Adriana says she finds her relationship with Thierry a “threat.”
“Because if I had, I would be in a better position and they don’t want to see me being strengthened by others,” he said.
After wrapping up the production RHOM season five, Adriana confirmed “divided” between the cast, stating that she, Guerdy, Nicole Martinand Julia Lemigova are on one side as Alexia, Marysol, and Larsa Pippenthat Adriana said “sided” with Alexia and Marysol, was on the other.
“It’s pretty much Alexia, Marysol, and Larsa. Me, Nicole, and Julia, and Guerdy on the other side,” he explained.
“[Alexia and Marysol] very young and very young,” he shared. “The new people I have [a] a history that is less crowded and more empathetic and present to me than it is now.
As for Lisa HochsteinAdriana said they were “the only ones who stayed friends over the years.”
“Lisa tried to intervene and try to make it, help us get together and talk to them. But they just yelled at Lisa, you know, and said, no, don’t go there. So they didn’t like Lisa either, “he said.
And after accusing Alexia and Marysol of making Nicole “look bad” because they found her a “threat,” Adriana said Alexia had become a “bully.”
“He’s just been annoying this season,” Adriana said. “I feel that he has lost his relevance. So this season he doesn’t have much to talk about… He is fighting to keep all his positions.
And she feels the same way as Marysol, saying she’s “struggling to stay relevant.”
“They didn’t have a storyline this season, so they made us [her] story line … They don’t work. He has no children. So I think she has a lot of free time on her hands and she’s trying to maintain her relevance,” Adriana said.
