We have come to our last episode Real Housewives of Miami Reunion. Let’s see if Andy can keep this beautiful group of women together to make Bahama Mamas again?
We pick up with Kiki let it go Lisa knowing that he knows the model that Lenny used to sleep with. Kiki tells the story of a man who claims he “slipped and fell into a chick’s vagina!” He has the best little quips and I just love his humor. Lisa described how Lenny used to make her feel crazy and insecure when she would question all the half-naked hotties that came to the party.
Alexia said they used to go to that party but Todd didn’t even look because he has a horse cap. Adriana says that Lenny won’t let her into the party when she tries to attend. Lisa feels like since she had a lot of filler in her face last season that’s the reason why she doesn’t love him. They really need to look deeper because I’m sure it’s not a problem because they’re in the field of cosmetic surgery. Lisa is very appreciative of the support she gets from this group. He gave the MVP award to Larsa for helping to get the ban lifted. Larsa was supposed to provide information to prove Lisa’s side of the story which helped a lot.
Lisa wants to remarry and wants a life partner. She is dating a guy named Jody who is a businessman and is backstage to give her moral support. Andy asks Alexia about her Cuban accent infused with Miami Spanglish, and she points out that they have their own lingo in Miami. Alexia says that her mother always wanted her to marry a gringo and that Todd is in love.
Alexia calls Anthony “Antonia” because he acts like a chick. No wonder he couldn’t see what he said about Nicole as something a couple would do to defend their loved one. Alexia said that she and Todd met with Anthony and Nicole. Alexia claims that Anthony said and Nicole only those with real jobs. Nicole calls Alexia out for not telling the whole truth and leaves out the part where she was teaching them that they are in big trouble for their comments throughout the season. Side Note: I can’t imagine Anthony would just say it without provocation from Alexia.
larsa then he will be called out for his cultural inappropriateness to wear his long braids. She said she actually had a braider come to her house to do her children’s hair too. Who knew such a service existed? Andy asks Kiki why she is so emotional about the healer. Kiki shared that she has struggled with her topsy turvy modeling career while being a single mother to two children. He really wears his heart on his sleeve and gave it his all this season IMHO. Andy gives Kiki a burger to go which she likes to enjoy cold!
Andy asks Marysol if she’s been feeling her mother lately. Marysol said that he felt his mother’s presence when he was in Thailand. Andy remembers when Mama Elsa told her she couldn’t love. That Mama Elsa is on to something!
Bravo for that Gerdy for being recognized as the best wedding planner in Bride magazine. They used to do fifteen weddings a year and now there are only five. Guerdy tries to be extra careful as Russell calls him out for being absent or MIA. She is doing well now and she has learned to prioritize her family because she doesn’t want to lose her handsome husband.
The bumpy relationship between Marysol, Alexia and Adriana profiled now. Marysol cries when she sees a clip of Adriana telling her that her ex-boyfriend doesn’t love her. Andy tried to get Adriana to see that the comment was not received well. Alexia calls Adriana a fraud for marrying Frederick and her past. Larsa tried to interfere, and I liked when Adriana closed her to stay out of it. He keeps trying to stick his bloated yapper into every conversation.
Adriana will be teased about being married to Frederick when she marries him on the show for the story line. He denied that he was married and the production showed a clip with Lea Black where he mentioned everything! Adriana wearing a floppy hat which is pushed around in a squeaky wheelchair is shown again and I will never get tired of that clip! He will be rightly slammed for comparing his accident to Frankie. Adriana tries to have a relationship with Alexia but fails miserably. Nicole thought that Adriana’s distance was similar to a panic attack. Alexia doesn’t think “My Bad” is an apology. He was not a penitent either. Julia admitted that Adriana’s comment was shocking but attributed to her aloneness and solitude. He is clearly a good friend to Adriana but has the ability to recognize when a friend f*cks up.
Marysol says that Adriana is dark, then calls Marysol unwell. Adriana gave Andy a letter from that person statement had been abused by Marysol. The authors need him to overcome his excessive drinking and seek intervention. Then we see the letter signed by Marysol’s heart! Adriana also gave him a list of AA locations. He has really gone off the deep end with this ridiculous nonsense although I agree Marysol drinks too much.
Andy questions Alexia about her relationship with her sons and her overprotectiveness. Alexia shared that the de Moya foundation has been a godsend. He has been to therapy for what has passed. Alexia used to get advice from her mother who was a therapist when she was alive. Andy asks about Peter’s girlfriend and her relationship with Pedro. Alexia knows that Peter wants to leave the country to save her pain, but is happy that Peter ends his relationship with his girlfriend.
Andy wants some closing thoughts from every woman in the future. Alexia thanked the de Moya foundation for Frankie’s vocational rehabilitation. He was so happy that he was able to let Frankie know his potential, and he had to let him live and learn. Marysol expressed how much she loved her job despite the pain in her a*sses. He is very fond of them and loves them all. Guerdy feels that the show helped him see the “blind side” that made him create the whole business model. He was on a date with his wife and had one-on-one meals with his son.
Adriana shared that she has managed to record a track with Emilio Esteban. They have some new material coming out. Julia shared that Martina’s cancer battle had shaken her whole soul. He has put life in perspective and no longer sweats so small. Side note: Martina’s health has been improving lately (can’t resist the word) so that’s good news!
Nicole thinks the most positive thing for her is reconnecting with her father. He was able to see them through a different lens and understanding of where he was coming from. Lisa is happy and has a boyfriend. She now realizes that her marriage to Lenny is not meant to last forever. Lisa knew that this had been a learning experience for her to see the real Lenny cheating egghead. Lisa said, “I’m glad it happened to me at this age instead of 10 years from now and everything happens for a reason.” He believes it is destiny and I agree everything happens for a reason.
Andy decided to toast the season without pickle flavored vodka shots but some delicious Bahama Mamas. I wish I could have them now because they taste amazing. The women hugged —even Alexia and Adriana—as they danced to Fyre’s song.
Yes, there were no fireworks in this episode and no different pairings, but Miami is definitely a unique franchise. Thank you Blurbers for hanging with me in Miami which will always be the city of Magic since birth! Have a wonderful Thursday!
