Season 7 of Happy Ever After? come to an end just in time to 90 Day Engagement: Another Way Season 4.
For many fans, this new cast full of fresh faces is a breath of fresh air after seeing so many long-time stars.
But there are some fan-favorites — and franchise villains — that production simply refuses to drop.
And apparently many of them were filming together in a tropical resort. Angela, Big Ed, and more.
Unfortunately, the threat of some 90 Day Fiance “all-star” special is just too real to ignore. But there are some bright spots.
It appears that several cast members – we’ll list them in a moment – have been “vacationing” together on camera in the Florida Keys.
How do you know this? First and foremost, because some angry vacationers have posted reviews.
A review of Isla Bella Resort reads: “The only drawback is filming for a 90-day engagement during the stay” without warning from the hotel staff.
“There were crews everywhere and it started out great, but it got a little annoying,” said the TripAdvisor reviewer.
The review stated: “For example, we were going to play a game that was held at the resort that night, but it was canceled because we were filming.”
TripAdvisor reviews are far from alone.
Many people have positive and negative things to say about the hotel. Honest? It sounds like most people enjoyed their stay.
But some people have two main complaints – ie 90 Day Engagement cast members were filming, and they did not receive warning in advance. Vacation time is generally quite limited – some people may have booked a trip for a period of time where they can, you know, enjoy a hotel.
That said…who is there, scaring hotel guests? Eyewitnesses don’t make us guess.
Angela Dem. Big Ed Brown. And, tragically, Liz Woods – who, as previously reported, appears to be back with Ed.
Then there’s the fan favorite (if not universally loved) couple: Jovi and Yara … and Kalani and Asuelu.
So what are they doing?
Apparently, there’s more depth to this (fake) special than, say, Peacock’s Ultimate Girls Trip for Real Housewives franchise.
Reports suggest that something is closer Marriage Boot Camp. Except it’s just for 90 Day Engagement pair.
Big Ed is one of the most twisted and toxic people in the franchise.
By their own count, they had up to eleven breakups – at least. The latest to do on the Tell All stage.
Unfortunately, many fear that Liz will get back with Ed. It’s hard to see someone make a self-destructive decision once, let alone dozens of times.
Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa’s marriage has been in trouble, when they announced that they were moving last year, fans were not sure if they were moving to the same place.
In fact … much remains uncertain. Until most of us concluded that he is still under contract and may be doing more movies.
Will an on-camera counseling session at a tropical resort solve all his problems? Obviously not. But it would be better for viewers to check with them.
Any therapist with any sense of ethics would have advised Michael to leave his abusive wife, Angela.
We won’t be holding our breath for anyone hiring a production to give Michael this much needed advice. Do what you want.
Meanwhile, zero reports have suggested that Michael is in Florida. That could mean they are still waiting for a visa, and will be involved in canceling it if there is one.
Yara and Jovi really disagree. But between Ed’s despicable behavior and Angela verbally, emotionally, and physically abuses her husband … that problem does not compare.
The problem is not comparable to the problem of Kalani and Asuelu. The couple seemed to be on the verge of divorce. Yara and Jovi only have to answer the questions that are important to their families.
It will be interesting to see what happens from all this. We’ll know more when TLC reveals everything.
