During the arrest, the suspect Daitey Mashack who is a Member of Assembly in the area attempted to bribe the arresting officer with the sum of twenty thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢20,000).
The truck containing the items has been confiscated at the Police Headquarters along with the bribe money.
The four suspects were then produced before the Ashaiman Circuit Court on Friday, January 6, 2023, where they were remanded in Police custody to appear again on January 23, 2023.
The Police Team was commended for their dedication and commitment to the service of Ghana.
