24-hour Economy Policy Will Boost Economy and Create Jobs – Prof. Opoku-Agyemang | Politics

The Vice Presidential Candidate for the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has stated that the proposed 24-hour economy policy will boost the economy and create jobs to the unemployed youth in Ghana.

She criticized some Economists who doubt the feasibility of the 24-hour Economy policy, noting that they now claim the current government is already implementing a similar policy.

Prof Jane Opoku-Agyemang said some people are deliberately saying it will not work and that the NDC has not properly thought through it

She called on such people to sell their policies to Ghanaians instead of spreading falsehoods.

With this she urged Ghanaians to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama in the December 7th general elections to enable him to fulfill his promise of creating jobs for the unemployed youth.

She said this when she interacted with residents, traders amongst others at Akokwa in the Agona East Constituency, Gomoa Aboso Abea in the Gomoa Central Constituency and Breman Baako in the Asikuma/ Odoben/Brakwa Constituency all in the Central Region as part of her 2 day tour to the region.
