2,300 Desks For Northern Region Basic Schools

2,300 desks for primary schools in the northern region

In line with the Government’s efforts to provide basic needs and facilities to help public schools and also improve the quality of education in Ghana, about 2300 double desks have been delivered to more than 80 primary schools in the Kpandai Directorate of Education in the Northern Region.

About 2700 more desks are expected to be delivered to other schools in the same education directorate within two weeks.

In total, more than 40,000 pieces of furniture including double desks, library chairs and tables, teacher’s chairs and desks, notice boards, bookshelves and more will be delivered to various primary schools in the country.

This is part of the nationwide distribution of furniture to needy primary schools in the country.

Dr. Yaw Adutwum, Minister of Education? said “I believe that little by little, we will reach the pinnacle in our efforts to improve Education in Ghana for future leaders and generations.”
