The youth in Gombe State, under the patronage of Arewa for Tinubu, have started a door-to-door campaign to canvass votes for Bola Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad, the coordinator of Gombe State, Arewa for Tinubu 2023, while speaking during the launch of the campaign in Gombe on Friday, said this move is to get more votes for Tinubu.
Muhammad said the group has over 5,000 members from the 11 Local Government Areas of Gombe State to carry out the campaign in the state.
He said with the launch of the campaign, members will start door-to-door sensitization to ‘market’ Tinubu’s manifesto across the country and mobilize votes for president Tinubu and Shettima.
He said the movement of the youth should also ensure the continuity of good APC policies and programs beyond 2023.
“From today, we are going from house to house to sell Tinubu’s manifesto, because we all know his positive contribution to the development of Lagos State.
“Tinubu has proven to be a leader who can overcome challenges affecting the economy, security, education and other sectors.
“Today, we are here to mobilize support for Tinubu’s presidency and bid for the re-election of Governor Inuwa Yahaya Gombe State,” he said.
The leader of the youth group said that over 5,000 decampees from PDP mainly and other political parties were welcomed into APC to boost support for Tinubu and Governor Yahaya and other APC candidates.
He warned youths in the state and Northern Nigeria not to make the mistake of voting for PDP, adding “PDP is a waste; the party is wasting our resources.”
“Tinubu has the capacity to transform the economy and make Nigeria greater for the benefit of all citizens.”
