2023 election: Tinubu beats Atiku, Peter Obi in all 16 local governments in Ekiti State | The Guardian Nigeria News

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Ekiti State.

Tinubu won all the 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ekiti State to defeat his nearest rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labor Party.

Tinubu polled a total of 201,486 votes to emerge as the winner according to results announced at the State Collation Center in Ekiti State.

INEC officials at the state collation centers have announced the results of each local government.

Tinubu’s closest rival, Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 89,554 while Obi of the Labor Party got 11,397 votes in Ekiti state.

Ekiti is expected to be the first of Nigeria’s 36 states and Abuja to officially announce the final results of the presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the national collation center in Abuja on Sunday.
