Two people died in a motorcycle accident on the Kintampo-Tamale highway in Bono East Region.
One other person sustained multiple injuries following an incident at Babator-Kuma on the Kintampo-Tamale highway when a Toyota Land cruiser crashed into a tree.
Rescuers from the Kintampo fire station responded to an accident call at 1:12 a.m. after a Toyota Landcruiser with registration number GR 5031-U burst its front tire and veered off the road and hit a tree in the process, according to a statement released. by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
All three people on board were trapped, two men died on the spot and the woman suffered several injuries.
The victim was found and rescued by the crew and transported to Kintampo Municipal Hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
