According to a new report, the 1000-lb Sisters could look very different in the coming months.
As we’ve seen in the past, insiders reveal that Tammy, Amy Slaton and their loved ones are not happy right now.
They feel like the producers unfairly edit the program they star in, and they are especially angry over their paltry paychecks.
What does this mean going forward?
It’s nothing because the two women have signed contracts that bind them to TLC for at least the back half of Season 4, which should start filming in the near future.
However, The Sun now says that the executive that is taking Amy and Tammy’s concerns into account… and considering an all-expenses paid trip to Greece for the 1000-lb Sisters cast later in the year.
The show hopes to treat Tammy and her new husband, Caleb Willingham, to their honeymoon, so they can bring the whole family with them to celebrate their union.
This will provide the series with a new and exciting setting, while hopefully (in the minds of the producers) satisfy the needs and concerns of the Slaton brothers so that they sign a new deal for the next season.
Why Greece?
The country has long been a bucket list destination for the Slatons, Amy Halterman previously had a Greek-inspired pregnancy shoot before the birth of her youngest son last year.
With Tammy and Amy reportedly in talks with at least one other network, the top-ups think that this bribe (really, that’s what it is) will keep the brothers around.
Last year at this time, of course, such a trip would not have been possible because Tammy was not in any shape.
But he qualified a few weeks ago for gastric bypass surgery…and look at him now!
“I’m working,” Slaton told Us Weekly this month, speaking for the first time publicly about the surgery, how she prepared and other aspects of her weight ordeal, while adding:
“I was hungry a lot of the time and my hard work paid off.”
The same can be said for one other important aspect of Tammy’s life: her love alive.
“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Tammy recently gushed to E! News of the exchange of vows with Willingham came just two months ago.
“God really blessed me.”
