Through thick and thin! 1000-lb’s best friend Meghan Crumpler facing more than one roadblock in season 2 of the TLC series – including weight loss stumbles and fears of wedding planning.
“My life is just like this [it’s] in a million pieces now,” Meghan, 44, said Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek at season 2 of 1000-lb Best Friendswhich premieres on Friday, January 4. “I’m kind of spiraling out of control.”
The reality star, who previously lost 200 pounds, admitted to her doctor that she didn’t do everything she needed to in order to lose the weight.
“I have to go out and take a few minutes to myself,” Meghan said after the surgeon was frustrated with her response. “I can’t believe this,” he added as he left the office. “Fk this place.”
Georgians aren’t the only ones upset because they seem to be hitting the road during their weight loss journey. He also expressed his concern to his colleagues Vanessa Cross, Tina Arnold and Ashley Sutton during the trailer about feeling unhappy ahead of her wedding.
“I’m not feeling it,” Meghan told the group as she tried on the dress.
Tina, 42, later confronted the bride, asking if she was really married. “Do you love him [and] is he the love of your life, or do you just not want to be alone?” she said.
While Meghan struggles with her self-esteem, Vannessa, 44, is preparing for skin removal surgery after successfully achieving her goals.
“I take confidence in losing weight,” he said in the clip.
Vannessa previously told us in February 2022 he “decided everything,” especially dating, while focusing on reaching his goal of 200 kilograms. “Right now, I’m just focused on losing weight myself,” she said us in time.
TLC’s personality is fun, but not everyone can get it now. Ashley, 37, admits that her path to a healthier lifestyle didn’t go as planned.
“I really need to get this weight loss surgery,” he told the camera after his doctor’s visit. “It’s life or death for me.”
The new season also promises some laughs with the girls as the BFFs celebrate Meghan’s upcoming wedding with a bachelorette bash – including drinks and feather boas.
The ladies will test their cycling skills on a rickshaw adventure, and Vannessa will try riding a mechanical bull between fitness classes and team building exercises.
Fans first met on 1000-lb Best Friends star in February 2022 when season 1 airs. Vanessa and Meghan, however, became reality TV personalities in 2021 after appearing on Discovery + Bulky.
After facing many ups and downs last season, the squad will return this month for round two.
“Vannessa, Meghan, Tina and Ashely are back and ready to share the latest on their health journeys as they work to reach their weight goals together,” TLC teased in a January press release. “These fierce four are more than determined to show that with an unbreakable bond, even the greatest obstacles can be overcome.”
Season 2 of 1000-lb Best Friends premieres on TLC Wednesday, January 4, at 10 pm ET.
