President Donald Trump welcomed the weekend with a Truth Social tirade against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), after publicly pulling his support from the MAGA firebrand the night before.
In a Saturday morning post, the president referred to Greene as “Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown,” immediately explaining that he called her that because “Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!”

He claimed that Greene had “turned Left” and “betrayed the entire Republican Party,” accusing her of being a “Fake politician.”
In another post around an hour later, he referred to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Green [sic].”

Trump’s posts came on the heels of his Friday night diatribe against Greene, in which he said he was “withdrawing” his support and endorsement of ”‘Wacky’ Marjorie,” claiming that she incessantly called him and then complained he wouldn’t take her calls.
Greene responded that night, saying, “President Trump just attacked me and lied about me.”
She added that she had in fact not called him, but instead sent text messages about the potential release of files related to notorious sex trafficker and former Trump pal Jeffrey Epstein.
“Apparently this is what sent him over the edge,” she wrote on X. “The Epstein files.”

On Saturday morning, Greene posted a follow-up message of her own.
“I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are,” she wrote. “And it truly speaks for itself. There needs to be a new way forward.”
She did not mention Trump by name, but went on to condemn the “toxic political industrial complex,” which she said “thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love.”
