
NDC celebrates the 41st anniversary of the December 31 Revolution
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 31, 2022, celebrated the 41st anniversary of the December 31 Revolution in Dawhenya in the Greater Accra Region.
It is characterized by the light of the fire continuously, laying wreaths and durbar.
The commemoration is themed, “Revolution of December 31, remember our heroes for a greater work”.
The December 31 Revolution is celebrated every year to remind NDC members of their ideals when the 4th Republic was established. [probity, accountability, freedom and justice].
Now on the grounds of the durbar include the NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings, the running mate of the NDC in the 2020 presidential election, has been arrested.
There are also members of DPR Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, Secretary General of NDC, former Mayor of Kumasi who is also the NDC flag bearer, Kojo Bonsu, former Minister of Finance and flag bearer, some traditional rulers. among others.
Speaking at the event, NDC Secretary General, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, said the NDC must set principles that will help the country.
“This party must return to Bedrock from principles and values. This party must basically be a party that loves this country enough to ensure that the principles we set will help this country forever,” said Mr. Kwetey.
