According to Mzansi Magic, Bheki ‘Ihhashi Elimhlophe’ and Linah Ngcobo have been ‘Couple Goals’ before the hashtag even existed and most South Africans who know the couple would agree.
As one of the main Maskandi artists and the 1980s pop star-turned-pastor wife respectively, ‘Ihhashi Elimhlophe’ and MaNgcobo, are titans of South African entertainment whose children have also made careers in showbiz.
Now the Ngcobo family is giving us a front row seat to their lives with their new reality show titled It’s like that.
The show will air on Mzansi Magic on Thursday 19 January 2023.
What to expect in ‘Ofuze’

Mzansi Magic promises that the series will show families like never before, as the younger generation tries to break the rules and restrictions imposed by their parents.
“Over the years, we have seen the Ngcobo clan grace our screens as the perfect Mzansi family, but now that the kids are older it is clear that all that glitters is not gold,” explains the channel.
“It’s great to have a new family join the Mzansi Magic family in the new year. We’ve had success with reality shows featuring other famous local families, from Uthando Nes’thembu to The Ranakas. We’re excited to bring Mzansi Magic viewers closer to the Ngcobo family through this story. We are confident that some of the storylines we have explored will resonate with many viewers,” said Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net.
In multigenerational It’s like thatviewers will see that when Mr. and Mrs. Ngcobo have carved out a perfect path for themselves, it has not been a bed of roses for their four children, especially because their parents love to rule with an iron fist.
“Nepo’s babies” may be a hot topic in Hollywood, but saying it’s an easy path for the younger Ngcobo generation couldn’t be further from the truth,” added Mzansi Magic.
