Below Deck Mediterranean have seen a fair share of mistakes and mishaps, but one unfortunate incident made the former head boil Hannah Ferrier turned pink in the face.
While talking to season 10 now Below Deck main stew Fraser CreaturesHannah remembers when she accidentally got dunked Captain Sandy Yawn‘s pure white pants and a white shirt lovely shade of pink when doing laundry during the season five of Below Deck Med. There’s something wrong with Hannah saying that production doesn’t know.
“I’ll never forget, it was like season four or season five when we were filming,” Hannah recalled to Fraser. Dear Reality, You’re Effed podcast. “And I never told anyone about it, even in production. Someone put on a red polo with white pants and Sandy’s white shirt.”
Hannah said she opened the washing machine and quickly realized her mistake. He added that he can laugh now, but at the time, it was very stressful.
“Because I was so scared, instead of just going, hey, this is happening, let’s deal with it. I put my back to the camera, put the things in my skort, and then went out to the pier to get a cigarette,” he said.
Apparently, Captain Sandy was never the wiser as Hannah says she hid the evidence – only to be fired for not registering her valium prescription and having a vape pen.
“Oh no, like I was fired for like a day or two,” Hannah said with a laugh. “I’m like, later, bastard!”
Although Hannah calls the incident a “simple mistake,” she is “nervous” about Captain Sandy’s strong-willed attitude. In fact, he believes he would have handled the situation differently if he had worked on it Captain Lee Rosbach.
“I’m sure if it happened to Lee, you might be like, look, someone did this, don’t know who, we all work in the laundry. I’m so sorry. Order you a new one. He’ll be happy, hey, it happened, you understand?”
Fraser has his own laundry list of mistakes this season Below Deck. He accidentally gave Captain Lee a uniform that was too small for the “Stud of the Sea”.
Still, it seems that Fraser is just fine when working with Captain Lee, but he’s not sure what to do with Captain Sandy’s vigilance.
“I don’t know how we can work together,” he said. “I just worked well with Captain Lee.”
When asked if he would have reacted in the same way as Hannah involving the laundry mistake, Fraser said he just “had it”.
Hannah didn’t buy it.
“I’ll give you four seasons of working with Sandy, and then I want to see if you say the same thing,” he joked.
