Hands Of Gold Foundation Opens Country Office In Ghana | General News

The Golden Hands Foundation (HOGF) has officially opened a country office in Ghana to complement the government’s efforts to support the needs of the vulnerable, poor, disadvantaged and marginalized in society.

HOGF, an international non-governmental organization (NGO), helps people who are facing financial problems by informing them about difficult times and helping them to achieve financial independence.

Speaking at the opening ceremony at Olebu-Ablekuma in Accra, Deputy Chief Executive of the Foundation, Mr. Benjamin Opuni said the Foundation was established with the sole purpose of supporting individuals, especially women and children, to benefit society.

“As our goal, the Foundation targets individuals, especially women and children, to support them until old age, to become financially stable through the development of entrepreneurship and the incubation of business initiatives and innovations for livelihood support,” he emphasized.

According to him, the Foundation believes in long-lasting relationships and partnerships and is therefore open to collaborating with other NGOs to ensure that all generations of our society participate in fulfilling the mission and vision of the Foundation.

It is worth noting that the Foundation has since the beginning financially supported the medical operations of Fibroids and Hernias to be carried out on some selected beneficiaries.

“On November 17, 2021, the Foundation conducted a comprehensive medical and health check-up for the entire community of Fankyinikor, a suburb of Nsawam.

“We have also issued financial tokens to some selected beneficiaries as start-up business capital and those people are financially sound. In addition, we have guaranteed payment of full medical expenses and surgical operations to some beneficiaries at the Korle Teaching Hospital- it’s “. he added.

He also indicated that the foundation also provides Academic Facility Fees (School Fees) for two (2) nursing trainees.

“Despite all the steps taken by the Foundation, we strive for higher, more will happen and we hope that the people of Olebu-Ablekuma will not be left behind,” he emphasized.

The Chief of the area, Nii Adotey Amarteifio (I) on his part, commended the HOGF for its initiatives and interventions over the years and urged it to expand its services to the people of Olebu-Ablekuma.

HOGF is a non-profit and secular non-governmental organization based in Ghana and established in September 2020 in Accra, Greater Accra Region.
