Denkyiraman Radio won big at the Denkyira Awards ceremony
Denkyiraman Radio 91.9FM received 4 prestigious awards at the 2nd edition of Denkyira Prestigious awards held on December 30, 2022 at Tufuor Hotel.
The ceremony was held with the aim of recognizing and awarding hardworking individuals who have in one way or another contributed to the development of the Denkyira Community.
At the award ceremony, the Radio Denkyiraman team chose their favorite Radio Station of the Year. Justice Denkyiraman Oppong Mensah named Radio Broadcaster of the Year while Abena Badu Adepa named News Broadcaster of the Year. Samuel Offei Boateng of the same station also won Sports Presenter of the Year.
Commenting on winning the award, the General Manager of the Justice station Oppong Mensah, thanked the committee for recognizing their efforts and impact on the community.
“Our team is very happy and proud to receive this award. We see it as recognition of the hard work, passion and commitment of management and staff to achieve success.
He also commented, “Since we started in 2021, we have become an important radio station that serves communities in the East and West Denkira Atas Assembly. Our programs have championed community services such as “Let’s Fix” which deals with social issues and Widows Mite supports widows in region. This and many similar programs and events have educated, informed and entertained listeners.
