Tembisa decuplets hoax put to rest: Public Protector did not find evidence of the birth of the baby
The infamous Tembisa Decuplets have once again come under the spotlight, after the Public Protector released a report on Friday, which confirmed that there was no evidence that the babies’ mothers were pregnant, or not.
Acting Public Protector advocate Kholeka Gcaleka published a 57-page report on the matter, following a complaint from the father of the still missing miracle baby in June last year.
Tebogo Edward Tsotetsi has issued a complaint to the office of the Public Protector based on six points related to the mother of the decuplets, Gosiame Sithole.
‘Let’s keep going and keep trying,’ Ramaphosa said in his New Year message

As South Africans prepare for 2023, President Cyril Ramaphosa has called for the country to unite and work together in the New Year to tackle SA’s socio-economic challenges.
In his New Year’s message on Saturday, Ramaphosa said 2022 was a difficult year as South Africans continue to suffer the hardships caused by persistent unemployment, poverty and inequality.
On top of all this, the president said that citizens must deal with the rising cost of living, natural disasters and crises to reduce the burden.

A gift from Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman awarded as ‘Person of the Year’

Gift of the Givers founder Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman has been chosen as “Person of the Year” by the Afrikaans magazine, Vrye Weekblad.
This is not surprising because Dr. Sooliman and the NGOs he leads continue to lead in humanitarian efforts to help those in need.
With the death toll from the Boksburg Christmas blast now at 34, Gift of the Givers has upgraded facilities at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (CMJAH) to help admit patients injured in the blast.
Dozens of people were critically injured when a gas tanker exploded near the OR Tambo Memorial Hospital at the weekend.
