One of the political betting markets that is quite busy today is who will win the Republican nomination for the White House Race 2024. Currently, former President Donald Trump is at the top of the polls and also bets where he is rated as a 30% chance.
I think the temptation is wrong, especially since we know that the official nominations and possible payment of bets will not be until August 2024.
There are many political campaigns and other issues that can happen between now and all bets are off.
Trump is a controversial figure, I’m sure that more enemies will emerge between now and when the first one starts.
The only point of taking a long bet a year or more before something is settled is that the odds are really good. That didn’t happen here.
