However, they finally took to the stage with the original Asake on Friday when they performed the popular song ‘Joha’ together.
Meanwhile, Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy delivered an energetic performance on Day 2 of the 2022 Afrochella Festival.
The Nigerian singer was originally billed to perform on Day 1, but was replaced on the roster by Ghanaian sensation Shatta Wale.
However, fans finally got to see the ‘Last Last’ hitmaker on Thursday when he took to the stage.
The multi-award winning artiste made a spectacular entry, before giving a performance that kept fans off their seats.
Many other artists have performed at Afrochella, including Asake, Pheelz, Praye, Kidi, Kwaw Kese and Mzbel.
