After the organizers of the Afro Nation festival announced the end of the event due to security concerns, some attendees and social media users have taken to different ways to express their disappointment.

Netizens on social media have blamed the organizers for not implementing sufficient measures to ensure the safety of participants and then changing the time.

Seeing electrifying performances on the first day from international and local artists including American rapper Meek Mill, Nigerian singer P Square, Oxlade, Tiwa Savage, and Ghanaian artists Gyakie and Kuami Eugene, the performance was halted on day 2 due to alleged crowd control issues at the event. the main entrance.

Eddie Khadhi one of the event’s MCs announced that the event had to end as police personnel and management struggled to control the crowd who tried to breach security protocols and enter the event grounds.

“The night is sold out but a lot of selfish people decide that they will come. For whatever reason, they want to rush the door and at this time, the police and security have got too much.

“It doesn’t matter what happens, if someone leaves this place with a body bag, this will happen and this is what we don’t want. So at this point, whether you hate me or love me, I want you to understand the reason why we have to stop this show for your safety,” he explained.

But the show’s attendees weren’t happy with the decision, with many still angry at the sudden end.
