Ablakwa releases 20 controversial forecasts for 2023: ‘Mahama will win NDC primaries by 95%’

To avoid his predictions being underestimated, he issued a warning, saying “this is not a false prophecy”.

Read the full list of MPs’ predictions for 2023 below:

1) Former President John Mahama will win the 2023 NDC Flagbearer Primaries with more than 95% of valid votes;

2) Former President John Mahama expects Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to remain his Running Mate for the 2024 presidential election;

3) Public Agitations against the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/Ofori-Atta debt swap program predicted to reach a crescendo as too many Ghanaians outrightly reject the draconian terms;

4) Debt exchange resistance and widespread unrest will lead to a major delay in the IMF Board Agreement, which development will add to Ghana’s current economic disaster;

5) RIBADE Limited, the JV contractor (consisting of Rizzani de Eccher SpA, M. Barbisotti & Sons Ltd and DeSimone Ltd) commissioned to build the $400 million President Akufo-Addo Cathedral will officially announce its disinterest and withdraw from the ongoing project . has a cause célèbre;

6) The owner of the luxury apartment complex Waterstone Realty demolished in May 2018 to pave the way for the construction of the cathedral is expected to rebuff the renewed appeal of the government for settlement out of court and vigorously pursue the GHS120million court debt case;

7) NPP MPs early this year will discover that they have been lied to by President Akufo-Addo and that he is determined to keep his brother in the Ministry of Finance even if he becomes president;

8) NPP MPs will deeply regret betraying the NDC caucus by not voting with us to secure the two-three constitutional threshold that will remove the dangerous Ken Ofori-Atta. Some disillusioned NPP MPs will publicly admit their tactical error and will seek new delays. #KenMustGo collaboration with the NDC caucus;

9) Meanwhile, I project that President Akufo-Addo and his cabal will continue to victimize it #KenMustGo NPP MPs are actively sponsoring these candidates in the upcoming NPP parliamentary elections;

10) The two pending nominations for Supreme Court Justices now caught in parliamentary gridlock will go from bad to worse. The defeated nominees (Justices George Kingsley Koomson and Ernest Yao Gaewu) may have to prepare for a fatal outcome;

11) I can safely predict that the High Court of Ghana will continue to treat our e-Levy case without any sense of urgency. Unlike in the controversial case of ‘Deputy Speaker Can Choose’ which was decided in a supersonic speed of 4 months – Abdulai was filed in December 2021, the court was ready in March 2022 and in April, his review application was rejected unanimously. In comparison, it has been 10 painful months since the Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, Mahama Ayariga, and I humbly filed the e-Levy case, specifically on March 30, 2022; and guess what, we don’t even have a date for the hearing of the substantive case;

12) Like many Ghanaians, I can equally predict with ease that Assin North MP, James Gyakye Quayson’s injunction will remain as an effective all-year restraint and thus guarantee the NPP a numerical advantage in the history of the Hung parliament of Ghana;

13) When Chief Justice Anin Yeboah retires in May this year, the frosty relationship with the NDC caucus and the perceived bias of the apex court will most likely disturb his successor and thus affect what will be a smooth parliamentary vetting. and the approval process of the next Chief Justice of Ghana;

14) 2023 appears to be an election year. I can see at least two elections on the horizon;

15) Expecting financial analysts and victims who are called to clean up the financial sector such as Dr. Ndoum, Dr. Dufuor and Kofi Amoabeng openly criticized what would have been patent discrimination in the projected Databank bailout;

16) Considering the monumental economic crisis caused by government mismanagement and gross ineptitude; related to the anger of Ghanaians, I anticipate that President Akufo-Addo will set refreshing in 2023 by his own abysmal standards, as he totally avoids the infamous €20,000 (GHS218,000) one hour chartered ‘sky bath’ trip.

By the way, that is not to suggest that I will dismantle my unimpeachable surveillance system – all-year-round tracking will continue unabated, for God and country;

17) I project that President Akufo-Addo this year succumb to the IMF and incessant public pressure by significantly reducing the size of the government and rationalizing the ministry;

18) Like many experts, I am disturbed that Ghana-Russia relations will face more damage despite the government’s heavy efforts behind the scenes to fix President Akufo-Addo’s Washington faux pas and litany of amateur provocations;

19) After last month’s phenomenal official apology offered by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on behalf of the Dutch state for the historical role of the Netherlands in the slave trade, I expect some other western countries to follow the worthy example of the Netherlands by offering sincerity. , apologized inappropriately and reopened serious discussions for reparations, although, after 150 years since slavery was abolished;

20) Unfortunately, Ghanaians have to look forward to another scandal in 2023. The first in a never-ending series of revelations will be put into the public domain from next week.
