Luann de Lesseps and Alex McCord has started a shade-fest after Alex confirmed his return to Bravo for the fourth season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Star, who is a former enemy The Real Housewives of New York, never seemed to bury the hatchet, even though Alex left over a decade ago. Although the cast members initially hit it off in season one, sharing a love of elegance and class, their friendship quickly turned sour.
In an Instagram post on January 10, Luann told Alex’s Bravo return with congratulations.
Arriving at the old tapes vault, Luann shows the scene where she tells Alex to “come back out of the closet you came out of.”
Captioning the post, Luann added, “Well…guess who came out of the cabinet.” He then tagged his former nemesis.
The post came a few hours after Alex wrote a gloomy post of his own. He was talking about Luann’s infamous streak from the previous season when she slammed Alex for wearing “Herman Munster shoes” — a reference to the fictional monster from the CBS sitcom. During the argument, Alex defended herself by identifying the shoes as Louis Vuitton, to which Luann replied, “Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.”
In his latest Instagram post, shared by @commentsbybravo, Alex shared a photo of his “Louis Vuitton” shoes, writing in the caption “never goes wrong.”
Then, Luann’s best friend Jill Zarin comment on the post. However, instead of defending Luann, Jill shared a mysterious wink emoji, possibly endorsing the sentiment.
